Friday's Quote
Hans Christian Andersen said: "Every person' s life is a fairy tale written by God's fingers."
Hans was a Danish poet who lived from 1805-1875. While we know him for several fairy tales he wrote, "Thumbelina", "The Ugly Duckling", "The Little Mermaid", "The Emperor's New Clothes", "The Princess and the Pea", "The Steadfast Tin Soldier", and "The Red Shoes", to name a few; he also wrote many poems and novels.
It is said that as a child he was known to memorize entire Shakespearean plays and recite them using wooden dolls as actors.
I thought this was some fun trivia to share with you this Friday.
Blessings!
