Today’s Tidbit: Here are some more of the words used in Shakespeare’s plays that have a different meaning today than they did in the 1600’s.
Addition=title Attend=to await Baggage=prostitute
Blank= a target Bolted= refined Halter=noose
Minister=servant Office=service or favor
Tax= to criticize; to accuse

I’m looking at a quote that is on my calendar today, “Recall it as often as you wish, a happy memory never wears out.” (Libbie Fudim). I find this to be very true. People, places, songs, food, or even words bring to mind the times, events, and people who make up my memories. Memories are very precious things to have.

I hope with all of the family dinners, tea parties, family vacations in Traverse City, family parties, sleepovers, and all of the other things we do as a family have created warm and happy memories for the youngest members of our family. When they look back, I hope they have many happy memories of times spent together. I know I do. I have also discovered it is as much fun to plan and create these times as it is to just participate in them! I have been blessed with a wonderful family and friends to create and share memories with. I hope you have too!
