A Photo from Friday's Festivities

Here is a picture of Katie and her brother Evan. It's hard to believe they are both 17! You will have to excuse the very proud aunt who wants to show off her nephew and niece!
I can't believe how quickly the time goes by. It doesn't seem like it was too long ago that we first got to know Katie, and her older sister Kristin, when their Mom, Bridget married my brother Bruce. (It was in May 1997. On my birthday, as a matter of fact. I've always said they are the best birthday present I have ever gotten!) They have all been a wonderful addition to our family. Bridget's family has been wonderful for my brother and his two boys. It has been a blessing to see how Bruce and Bridget have worked hard to blend their two families into one. I love to watch the four kids interact with their "parents". It's easy to see they all love and respect each other. Okay...I'll quit being the proud aunt for now! :)
